Hello and thank you for your interest in my work. I'll start off by telling you I'm a single mom/artist/bartender living in Massachusetts with my two young sons. My kids are the inspiration for everything I do. Like any mother, I want to give them the moon, the stars and everything that lies beneath. They're also the reason I've made the decision to create a website dedicated to one of my favorite hobbies - taking pictures. My boys are little now, but I want to do something & be someone that they can be proud of as they grow older.....and of course, I like knowing that there will be little "pieces of me", in my photos, left behind when I'm no longer here.

I've always been involved in one kind of art or another and have dabbled in many things....drawing, jewelry design, doll repainting, web graphics (you can see a few of my other sites on the links page) ...but for me, it always comes back to taking pictures. It finally dawned on me that my favorite part of creating something is photographing the finished product. This should have been obvious to me from the beginning, to pursue photography I mean. While I've never felt comfortable in front of the camera, I've always been the one behind it. Most of my "creative endeavors" are self-taught, I learn something new every day and I'm eager to learn more about this art.

As I've stated, I've always loved taking pictures, but my passion was renewed when I purchased my first "serious" digital camera back in the beginning of 2004. After much research, I finally decided on the Nikon CoolPix 5700. I like it so far. The majority of my pictures are shot in natural light. I also use Photoshop & Paint Shop Pro to enhance some of them, making for a more interesting image. It's very easy for me to get "lost" in those programs for hours playing with a few good shots.

I've received many requests and I hope to eventually offer my photos for sale, but that won't be for a while. I'll be spending most of my time taking lots of pictures & refining my abilities - the best of my photos will always be added to the galleries here.
